about

Oblique

Synthwave and synthpop are the sounds of Oblique's universe. Inspired by soundtracks from the 80s, analogue synths and programming plus the voice of Sonja are the signature of this project. The duo has released 5 albums, 2 EPs and various songs included in several compilations to date.

Carlos Bayona

Spanish DJ and producer based in Barcelona, Spain. He started to play music at the local electronic dark scene in 1996 and currently is a very well known name from his hometown city where he has a residency at Razzmatazz, one of the most important clubs in Spain and Europe. As a producer began his career with the electronic pop band Oblique at the early 2000s. In 2005 he started his own project alongside tv hostess Lorena Castell. The project was called Lorena C and reached a lot of attention due to their massive success at MySpace. As a producer he has made a lot of remixes to alternative indie bands such as De/Vision, Facto Delafé, Love Of Lesbian, La Bien Querida or OBK. His last record is a retrowave project called Oblique & Carlos Bayona.
